What is the difference between the 600 Series and the 614 Super HEPA Series?
The core difference is filtration efficiency at the HEPA stage. Standard 600 Series models use a True HEPA filter rated at 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns — the industry standard for commercial air purification. The 614 Series upgrades to a Super HEPA filter rated at 99.99% efficiency at 0.3 microns, offering measurably higher capture rates for ultrafine particles including bacteria, mold spores, and fine dust. What does the "DLX" designation mean on models like the C600 DLX and F600 DLX?

For example, the C600 DLX uses a heavier bed of impregnated activated carbon specifically formulated for broader and deeper chemical gas abatement — important in environments with complex VOC profiles. How much square footage does one Airpura unit cover?
All 600 Series Airpura units are rated for up to 2,000 sq ft at 2 air changes per hour (ACH) and up to 1,050 sq ft at 4 ACH, based on 8-foot ceilings. For standard office and institutional environments, 2 ACH is the baseline. For healthcare settings, infection control applications, or spaces with elevated contaminant loads, 4 ACH is recommended — which effectively halves the coverage area per unit. What filtration stages do Airpura units use?
All Airpura 600 Series units use a multi-stage filtration system. What is TitanClean photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) technology?
TitanClean is Airpura's proprietary photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) technology, used in the P600, P600+, P614, and P814 series. A UV light activates a titanium dioxide (TiO₂) catalyst, creating hydroxyl radicals that chemically break down VOCs, bacteria, viruses, and mold at a molecular level — destroying contaminants rather than simply trapping them. What is the difference between HEPA 99.97%, HEPA Barrier 95%, and Super HEPA 99.99%?

HEPA Barrier 95% provides strong filtration for general commercial use at a lower resistance, suited for environments with moderate particulate loads. True HEPA 99.97% is the global standard for air purification and captures the vast majority of allergens, mold spores, bacteria, and fine dust. Maintenance & Filters
How often do Airpura filters need to be replaced?
Filter replacement intervals under normal commercial operating conditions are: Pre-filter — approximately every 12 months (can be vacuumed through the grille to extend life between replacements). Activated carbon filter — approximately every 24 months, though this varies significantly based on contaminant load. Facilities with heavy chemical exposure or persistent odors may require more frequent replacement. HEPA or Super HEPA filter — every 3 to 5 years. UV germicidal lamp (UV models only) — approximately every 18 to 20 months (15,000 hours of operation). No professional installation is required. Airpura units arrive fully assembled with all filters pre-installed — unbox, position, and plug in. Filter replacements are designed to be performed by facility maintenance staff without tools or technical training.

Installation & Placement
Where should an Airpura unit be positioned in a facility space?
For optimal performance, position the unit in a central location within the target space, away from walls and obstructions, to allow unrestricted 360° air intake. Airpura units draw air in at the base and exhaust filtered air from the top, so ensure at least 12 inches of clearance above the unit. In open-plan environments, a centrally placed unit will outperform a corner placement. For spaces larger than 2,000 sq ft, multiple units distributed throughout the space are more effective than a single oversized unit. The UV600-W wall-mount model is available for environments where floor placement is not practical.
Can Airpura units be used in spaces with existing HVAC systems?
Yes. Airpura units operate independently of HVAC infrastructure — they are standalone, portable air purification systems that supplement (rather than replace) existing ventilation. This makes them particularly valuable in older buildings where upgrading HVAC filtration is not feasible, in spaces with poor duct distribution, or in targeted areas within a larger facility that require enhanced air quality (e.g., a healthcare reception area, a wellness room, or a nursing station).

Returns
Airpura air purifiers may be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition with all original packaging intact. A restocking fee may apply. Units that have been operated, had filters removed, or are missing original packaging cannot be accepted for return. To initiate a return, contact us at info@facilitysupplypro.com or 1-877-804-9940 for a Return Authorization (RA) number before shipping the unit back. Returns without an RA number will not be accepted. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the purchaser unless the return is due to a verified defect or fulfillment error on our part.
Warranty
Airpura air purifiers are covered by a manufacturer's limited warranty administered through authorized dealers. Coverage terms differ by use type:
Commercial Use (offices, schools, healthcare, institutional, and all facility applications): 2 years parts and 5 years labor from date of purchase. Airpura will repair or replace defective units or components at no charge for parts and labor within the first 2 years. From years 2 through 5, labor is covered but replacement parts and shipping are charged to the purchaser.
Residential Use: 5 years parts and 10 years labor from date of purchase, under the same repair-or-replace terms.
Filters, UV germicidal lamps, and electrical plugs are excluded from warranty coverage under both programs. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Damage from misuse, unauthorized modification, or service performed by non-Airpura personnel is not covered.
