Carbon Filter Upgrade
The standard potassium permanganate carbon blend is optimized for formaldehyde and lightweight gas removal. For environments with heavier VOCs or faster chemical binding requirements, upgrade to the impregnated potassium iodide carbon filter.

What is the coverage area of the 700 series?

The 700 series covers up to 2,500 sq ft based on 8 ft ceilings, delivering 2 complete air exchanges per hour. Coverage will vary with ceiling height, room configuration, and contaminant load.

How does the 700 series differ from the 600 series?

The 700 series uses an upgraded 7-series motor rated at 635 CFM, compared to 560 CFM in the 600 series. The new motor delivers more airflow and runs quieter, particularly at low and medium speeds. Filter configurations, carbon weights, and the overall chassis are the same across both series.

How often do filters need to be replaced?

The pre-filter is vacuumable from the exterior and should be replaced approximately every 12 months. The carbon filter should be replaced every 24 months under standard continuous operation. The HEPA filter is rated for 3 to 5 years depending on contaminant load and run hours. Commercial environments with higher particulate or chemical loads may require more frequent replacement.

Does the unit produce ozone?

No. The 700 series produces zero ozone emissions. All models use a powder-coated steel housing with a sealed filter chamber that prevents off-gassing from the motor or housing materials.

Is the 700 series suitable for continuous 24/7 operation?

Yes. The unit is designed for continuous operation at variable speeds. Most commercial deployments run the unit on low to medium speed continuously to maintain consistent air quality and maximize carbon dwell time.

What carbon filter options are available?

Standard models use an 18 lb activated coconut shell carbon bed. DLX models use a 26 lb carbon bed for higher chemical and odor loads. An impregnated carbon upgrade (potassium iodide and coconut shell blend) is available for applications involving elevated VOC concentrations, formaldehyde, or industrial off-gassing. Are the 600 series and 700 series filters interchangeable?

Yes. The 700 series uses the same filter platform as the 600 series. Replacement pre-filters, carbon filters, and HEPA filters compatible with a given 600 series model are also compatible with the equivalent 700 series model.

Where is the 700 series manufactured?

Returns

Airpura air purifiers may be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition with all original packaging intact. A restocking fee may apply. Units that have been operated, had filters removed, or are missing original packaging cannot be accepted for return. To initiate a return, contact us at info@facilitysupplypro.com or 1-877-804-9940 for a Return Authorization (RA) number before shipping the unit back. Returns without an RA number will not be accepted. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the purchaser unless the return is due to a verified defect or fulfillment error on our part.

Warranty

Airpura air purifiers are covered by a manufacturer's limited warranty administered through authorized dealers. Coverage terms differ by use type:

Commercial Use (offices, schools, healthcare, institutional, and all facility applications): 2 years parts and 5 years labor from date of purchase. Airpura will repair or replace defective units or components at no charge for parts and labor within the first 2 years. From years 2 through 5, labor is covered but replacement parts and shipping are charged to the purchaser.

Residential Use: 5 years parts and 10 years labor from date of purchase, under the same repair-or-replace terms.

Filters, UV germicidal lamps, and electrical plugs are excluded from warranty coverage under both programs. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Damage from misuse, unauthorized modification, or service performed by non-Airpura personnel is not covered.
